Welcome to CrewTaskr. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CrewTaskr website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, or by creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. About CrewTaskr

​

CrewTaskr is a technology platform that connects Clients seeking local services with independent Workers who offer those services.

​

CrewTaskr is not a party to any service agreement between Clients and Workers. CrewTaskr does not employ Workers, supervise their work, provide the services, or act as a contractor, employer, staffing agency, or insurer. CrewTaskr makes no guarantees regarding the quality, safety, legality, timing, or outcome of any services performed through the Platform.

2. Eligibility

​

To use the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.

• You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

• You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and will update it as needed.

• You will maintain the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

​

3. User Accounts and Roles

​

The Platform offers two primary user roles:

• Clients: Users who post jobs and hire Workers.

• Workers: Independent service providers who bid on and perform jobs.

​

You may not create multiple accounts, create false or misleading accounts, impersonate others, or share your account with anyone else. CrewTaskr reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

4. Independent Contractor Relationship

​

Workers are independent contractors and not employees, partners, or agents of CrewTaskr. Each Worker is solely responsible for:

• All taxes, insurance, licenses, permits, and legal compliance related to their services.

• Providing their own tools, equipment, transportation, and materials.

• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

CrewTaskr does not control, direct, or supervise the performance of services. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship.

5. Job Postings, Bids, and Agreements

​

Clients may post jobs describing the requested services. Workers may submit bids or proposals.

Clients are solely responsible for reviewing Worker profiles, evaluating bids, selecting Workers, supervising the work, and confirming satisfactory completion.

CrewTaskr does not endorse any Worker and makes no representations or warranties about any Worker’s qualifications, background, licensing, insurance, or reliability.

6. Payments, Escrow, and Fees

​

CrewTaskr uses Stripe as its third-party payment processor.

​

When a Client accepts a Worker’s bid:

1. The agreed amount is charged to the Client.

2. Funds are held in escrow by Stripe.

3. Upon Client approval of job completion, funds (minus CrewTaskr’s fees) are released to the Worker.

CrewTaskr may charge platform service fees, which will be clearly disclosed before you accept a bid or post a job. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly provided in these Terms.

​

Workers must complete Stripe onboarding and provide accurate payout information. CrewTaskr is not responsible for delays, errors, or issues caused by Stripe, banks, or incorrect user-provided information.

7. Disputes and Resolution

​

If a dispute arises regarding job completion, Clients must report issues through the Platform before approving completion. CrewTaskr may:

• Temporarily hold funds.

• Review messages, photos, and job details.

• Facilitate communication between the parties.

​

CrewTaskr reserves the right to make final determinations on refunds, payouts, and platform-related disputes in its sole discretion. These determinations do not affect any legal rights or remedies the parties may have against each other.

8. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

​

You agree not to:

• Engage in harassment, threats, discrimination, or abuse of other users.

• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or illegal content.

• Attempt to circumvent the Platform’s payment system or fees.

• Manipulate ratings, reviews, or the matching system.

• Upload malware, spam, or harmful code.

• Use the Platform for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

• Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

CrewTaskr may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

9. Ratings and Reviews

​

After job completion, Clients and Workers may leave honest ratings and reviews. Reviews must be truthful and based on actual experience. CrewTaskr may remove reviews that violate these Terms.

10. Messaging and Platform Communications

​

CrewTaskr may monitor, review, and moderate communications on the Platform for safety, fraud prevention, and policy enforcement. You may not use Platform messaging for spam, harassment, illegal activity, or to circumvent payments.

11. Intellectual Property and Content License

​

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, reviews, etc.). By uploading content, you grant CrewTaskr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.

12. Suspension and Termination

​

CrewTaskr may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, unsafe behavior, fraud, chargebacks, or other conduct that CrewTaskr deems harmful to the Platform or users.

You may delete your account at any time via the Platform settings or by contacting support.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

​

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CREWTASKR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CREWTASKR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

14. Limitation of Liability

​

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREWTASKR AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.

CrewTaskr’s maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to CrewTaskr in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

​

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CrewTaskr and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of:

• Your use of the Platform.

• Your violation of these Terms.

• Your job postings, services performed, or interactions with other users.

• Your breach of any applicable law.

16. Privacy

​

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

​

17. Modifications to the Platform and Terms

​

CrewTaskr may modify, update, or discontinue features or the entire Platform at any time. We may also update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Indiana.

19. Miscellaneous

​

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and CrewTaskr.
